Caroling: NHS, FFA and FCCLA members who plan to go caroling on Dec. 19th must complete the Google Form as soon as possible. Please see the live announcement link on the weekly emailed announcements to access the link


“Holly Days” Dress Up: Join in the fun of our “ Holly days” dress up. Please see one of the flyers hanging throughout the building or the emailed announcements for themes.


Dec. 16 - Twinning is Winning  (dress alike with a friend)   

Dec. 17 - Channel Your Flannel (wear flannel)  

Dec. 18 - Spirit Day ( show your Panther Pride)                      

 Dec. 19 - Long Winter’s Nap ( wear your holiday PJ’s)   

               

Internship Opportunity: Any junior or senior students who are interested in health care as a possible career path, there is an opportunity to shadow and intern at Memorial Hospital next semester. If you are interested please see Mr. P. Cotter or send him an email to set up a time to talk about the program. You must express interest before the Holiday Break. Thanks!


Ski Club:  Are you interested in the ski club?   Ski dates are Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 14  through  Feb. 11 from 4 - 8 PM.  Registration and payment for the ski package is through Vail.   Registration and payment for the bus is through Fairbanks.  These must both be completed byToday.   This is a hard deadline.   For more information, contact Mr. Ungerer and see the Informational Flyer that is on the emailed announcements. Please note that the bus fee has increased this year to $50.


The Giving Tree: If you signed up to provide a gift for the  Giving Tree.  All unwrapped  items need to be taken to Mrs. Hooper’s office in the MS today, Dec. 15th.  Sign up Link


Semester Exam Release: Reminder that  exam release forms are due in the office before you can be released during  none exam periods. Copies of the forms can be found outside the office.


Tolles PM Students: Tolles PM students, you will need to arrange a ride home at 3:00 on Friday,  as there will be no busing at that time due to the 1:00 early release. Busing will be as normal to and from Tolles.


Holiday Concert: Come here the sounds of the holiday at our Music Department Winter concert tonight  at 7 pm in the high school gymnasium. The art department will host an art show on the stage prior to the concert. This event is free and open to the public. Come get into the holiday spirit!

Holiday Heart: The holidays can be hard for many reasons, not least of which is the financial strain on a family. If you need assistance this holiday, including groceries, meals or gifts, please complete this form.

Mrs. Hooper or Mr. Cotter will contact you to help connect you with support. We have many generous offers extended to our school community every year, and we would love to help fill your unique needs. All information is kept confidential, both from the donor side and the recipient side.

Winter Volunteers for Athletic Events:  We are asking for help running our winter events.  Volunteers help our events run smoothly.  Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Softball:  If your daughter plans to play softball for Fairbanks this spring, parents, please log into Final Forms and sign them up for softball.  We are trying to get an accurate count of participants. 


DISTRICT NEWS


Panther Market: Did you hear? Panther Market is officially open!  If you would like to place an order, please see the QR code posted around the school or stop by the market during open hours in the morning from 7:45-7:55 am.
